AMP Bijapur Chapter held a Mega SDL Event

AMP Bijapur Chapter conducted SDL lectures in 21 Schools of Bijapur City in Karnataka on Monday, 16th July 2018, with a motive of reaching the blooming youth of the community and making them aware of their inner strengths and skill sets.

Topic chosen for the SDL was “Know Yourself” which was conducted in most of the Schools and Colleges of Bijapur City.

A total of 1636 Students were reached and brought under the umbrella of these SDL’s with 11 Motivated Speakers delivering the Lectures and 12 Volunteers coordinating and helping the speakers for smooth execution of the event.

Objectives:

·         To reach out to the maximum school and college students.

·         To make the students aware of their strength and skill sets.

·         To make them understand the proper path and methods to develop their strengths.

·         To make them able to identify the measures to be taken to overcome their weaknesses.

·         To make them understand the process of SWOT Analysis and try to implement it in their lives.

The lectures were garnished by few moral and motivational stories by the speakers to make it more interesting for the students and to have a control over the attention of the students. The following additional points were emphasised;

·         Perfect is not Real

·         Accept everything

·         Use everyone else as a mirror

·         Connect to your core

These lectures taught the students not to degrade themselves in any aspect and that failure is just a step towards success. They can achieve more because they are like a raw stone which can be carved into a beautiful diamond by a proper understanding of   themselves.

AMP gave a platform to these inspiring speakers to serve the community by way of SDLs and they could thus share their knowledge and expertise with the youth, who are the future of our Country.

Regards,
Team AMP
